  Like most Wes Anderson this movie felt kind of all over the place, but not in a bad way. It was funny when it needed to be, somewhat serious when it needed to be, and of course the camera angles were perfect. The characters were all cast well in my opinion, and my favorite characters were the younger sisters. Overall really good

  My first thought was that it' s nothing like the book. The main plot points are similar, but a lot was different in the movie, got kind of hard to follow at times. Also, honestly felt cringy at some points, bit it seemed to fit the characters. Overall pretty good, very emotional, the end is perfect for a good cry lol
