I've read Look Back multiple times and was eagerly awaiting this adaptation. It without a doubt surpassed all expectations. On an animation/art direction level it perfectly captures Fujimoto's vision, doing a wonderful job bringing this world and characters to life. So often I was left in awe of how they adapted some scenes and moments. The rain scene was so well done, legitimately one of my favorite moments in any movie. This isn't even to mention the emotional weight this whole movie has, it truly has inspired me as an artist and a human being.
