  Sean Connery playing opposite James Bond. Masterclass crime thriller caper by Lumet. Connery is the straight man thief who pull off a heist with the help of the mob, an elderly jailbird, a gay appraiser, two cool black guys and young Christopher Walken in his film debut. Film has echoes of Oceans 11, and Inside Man. Great 70s flick 👍🏽

  Gosling doesn't miss, and his first time on-screen romance with Emma Stone is electrifying. Meanwhile the arc of Steve Carrell upgrading his coolness is entertaining, in the end all the character arcs tie up conveniently, almost too unrealistic.

  Acting tour de force for Hugh Jackman. His intensity of a grieving father with bad thoughts was riveting. Jake G was an interesting counter balance to Hugh, making interesting ticks for his character. Great mystery with a surprise ending that works.

  Solid horror/thriller. Classic B movie vibes ala Chucky, with elements of Robocop and Terminator. The relationship between M3gan and Cady is very believable and the overworked auntie tied in nicely with the supporting roles. Good movie 👍🏽
