Stand by Me 1986
I love how we get a real feeling of nostalgia from 12 yr olds to the future that lead them to their own paths narrated later on at the end which made me lay out few tears. The themes around family relationships made their characters lively especially gordie dealing with his toxic dad and how chris is always there to comfort him, that's some tru friendship right there. Chris is the dawg we wish we have. I can only imagine the amt of chris and gordie gay edits i would be seeing rn if this came out now.
