This seems more catered to the audience of the original movies.
A cliched film with its writing all over the place. The caricaturist characters add just add to comic relief that is forgettable after one watch. Tamil cinema should stop trying to use the same tropes again in such films as a selling point. Cameos of famous people lend no value to the film. A very mediocre film.
A highly eccentric film with the most eccentric protagonist that is bonkers at certain places which are cause for its major faults. Action and music work well along with the comedic punchlines for the most part. A lack of a character antagonist can be seen as a flaw, but that is not what this film is about.
