so i dont understand why this movie isnt getting the fanfare it deserves cuz it was awesome. funny, witty and exceptional acting especially from both Pattinson and Ruffalo. the only negative I could even say about this movie was the pacing and progression is a bit all over the place, but its very much understandable and might even benefit the movie from being more engrossing. lowkey reminded me a lot of triangle of sadness!

so im giving this a high rating because i do believe its a really really good movie and does everything really well. But for some reason, it left me feeling sorta unfulfilled. I can’t quite place why and maybe deserves a rewatch… but to slightly more in depth : the story is amazing, the pacing, the build up, the cinematography and screenplay. however, my issue lies on the ending feeling a bit rushed in a way? And my major criticism…

Poor Things 2023
this movie is absurdism at its finest. the cinematography, visuals, costume and acting were all phenomenal (emma stone killed it!). I left confused about the message and still am, in many ways I find it quite empowering from a feminist aspect, and in many ways I’m conflicted as how we are portraying this to be empowering. Overall it’s a great movie and stirred up a lot of discussion. I need more time and opinions to formulate a more defined opinion, for now I enjoyed it for what it was and showcased.
