Wicked Little Letters 2023
Such a great film, super enticing and the fact that it’s based on a true story was the cherry on top of it all. I loved Olivia Colman’s acting in Empire of Light and she certainly didn’t disappoint here as she has a talent with acting in historical British films. Anjana Vasan did an incredible job in her episode of Black Mirror and kept it consistent with playing such a convincing character in the film as a police officer. Jessie…

Beautifully written and I loved following the journey of the protagonists as their story developed. I loved seeing how other townsfolk would react towards the main characters, it was an interesting dynamic that they chose to explore and in many ways the movie spoke a lot towards black culture. Watching them still try to enjoy their lives whilst under a stressful situation was heartwarming and yet so heartbreaking as the circumstances only got worse.
