Charlie Kaufman comprises wit and heartbreak in this high-concept drama directed by Michael Gondry. This is probably my favorite film that Kaufman has ever penned. He presents a bittersweet tale of doomed love and fantasy, and he doesn’t hold back. His approach to writing is fascinating as he never goes the route I would expect him to go. I thought I'd review this as I impatiently wait for the sequel to arrive. I’ve never been an animation aficionado or a Spider-Man expert, but I don't think people that don't watch movies regularly understand just how revolutionary Spider-Verse actually is for both the animation industry and the superhero genre.
