  I have quite a few Soderbergh films to get through but I don’t think any will outdo this film. Such a beautiful, delicate deconstruction of these characters’ interpersonal relationships and each of their peculiar feelings towards intimacy. All of which are justified in their own way.

  Fascinating film. Heavy subject but Tøndel does a great job peeling the layers of trauma back patiently, very human in that way as we get to experience the shock along with Elisabeth. Beautifully shot too, especially for a one location film. They got full use out of that school.

  The premise drew me in and I found myself bored on a Friday night so I decided to give this movie a chance, even though I saw the reviews prior...

  Usually with a film in space and the semi-near future, you can at least draw people in with great shots and scenery, but this film could barely do that. The dialogue was horrible, the acting was flat, bland, and confusing. 

  There was nothing positive about this movie except a few of Lily-Rose Depp’s scenes.

  I just don’t know how Sean Baker pulled this off, honestly. It’s everything you want in a film, made with care and earnestness, that’s what sets this film apart. Magnificent ensemble of characters and beautiful performances. My goodness that ending. It’s been a minute since I gave a film a rating but I had to for this, we pumping the numbers. Very well could be the film of the decade.
