  Definitely the best work in terms of anime I've ever seen. My only criticism resides in the fact that the female characters are totally objectified, left inert and practically insignificant, except for the function of being sexualized and submitting to the male figure.   I can say it's one of my favorite animations of all time. Beautiful and sad, full of sensitivity, pain and melancholy. Also, the film is visually stunning. It's an incredible and very detailed animation.
