Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb 1964
What a phenomenal film. I would recommend this as a movie pairing with Oppenheimer, given the obvious shared theme of potential nuclear Armageddon. Both films take polar opposite tones - the former is a breathless, intense, larger-than-life 3 hour marathon while the latter is a masterclass in gallows humor (as advertised in the title) .
