Irreversible 2002
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Gonna rewatch at some point (again skipping the 10 minute *that* scene), but yeah the only good part of this was the fire exstinguisher scene. It feels like one of those films where it tries to be so hard to be artistic by having every single mature and shocking element in it somewhere. The gimmick of the film is kinda redundant too when the whole film would actually work better in chronological order, much of the irony and twists having a harder impact.

Night and Fog 1956
The American school system taught the Holocaust wrong. They didn't even scratch the surface of how awful that was. This film still doesn't scratch it, but it does a better job, and that says a grand amount.
