This was an interesting one.
A Spanish film about Vietnam, Thi Mai tells the story of Carmen, a woman who recently lost her daughter to a fatal car accident. Shortly after the incident, Carmen discovers that her daughter's papers to adopt a Vietnamese girl successfully went through and she travels to Vietnam to meet her. Although the movie mainly focuses on motherly devotion, I'd like to focus on the cultural aspect.
