The Fire Inside 2024
I usually love a sports biography because I learn more about the persons life, unfortunately this film did not do this for me. Areas where they could have dug deeper they sped over. The pacing in the film felt really rushed. The acting was good though. I guess the film would have been better if Claressa made them film when she was 50 instead of 29. Like live more life so there’s more stories to tell. But as always, I can be wrong; so go watch it for yourself.

Sea of Love 1989
Stumbled across this gem of a film as I was blindingly scrolling through Netflix, and it was pretty damn good. It had a good cast and a pretty good twist. Also, it’s always great to watch movies based in New York from a different era; it makes you reflect on how we used to live in a less tech heavy time. Shoutout to Samuel L. Jackson being casted as the “Black Guy” in the film lol.
