Conclave 2024
Give me a movie where we have a clear goal and I would be already on my way to the queue. I'm not picky at all. Then add an superb actor like Ralph Fiennes who would be able to make me watch two hours of a divorced father's trip to buy his daughter's Christmas gifts in a ghost mall in Minnesota, and the result is two very entertaining hours eating popcorn in my seat.

Better Man 2024
So Robbie Williams really taught Skye Riley (Smile 2) a lesson huh. Besides that, the movie was fun. I didn't knew anything about Robbie Williams going into this movie (Part of a double session, I needed to burn some time before the movie I wanted to watch), but found myself recognizing a lot of his songs. The movie showed some moments where I was truly moved by the cinematography and pick of scenes. Really interesting way of telling your life to someone Mr. Williams (though I don't know how much of it was "real" or not), and to Robbie credit: I was really entertained. Thank you.

Chinas 2023

The Little Mermaid 2023
Stormy waters and THAT quote by Hans Christian Andersen: "But a mermaid has no tears, and therefore she suffers so much more."
I was sold right away. I knew this film was going to be wonferful. And it was. A Disney remake that feels like a proper adaptation -with a must needed expansion of the backstory and the characters' motivations-, and not a lifeless photocopy of an animated classic.
