  unfortunately, surprisingly mid… i don’t know what to say, did not care about anyone in this film, masterfully uninspiring. the only good thing is the amount of inside jokes we have come up with my friend during the film.

  i hate to say it, but this film fell short for me. to preface, mikey madison is the best, brightest and most exciting part of this film. her physicality, presence and rhythm are superb! however, other characters for me seemed to just embody very cliche stereotypes, fun ones of course, but such banality often overshadowed the story and anora as a character herself. i don’t know if i have more to say, it was a fun watch and that’s it.

  at times my mind fought to search for answers, caused by the ambiguity of the hints that are given to us about the protagonist’s past. however, the best and most freeing feeling came once i slowly but surely accepted the reality that they will remain a simple curiosity to me. what a great reminder to me that sometimes there is no need to know what happened before and what will happen after, the only thing that matters is how now…

Following
