  It felt rushed and didn’t work to set up the tension properly. I’m not sure if it works if you didn’t read the book, and if you did, then it feels underwhelming. Overall, it was still an alright watch.

  It felt like a collection of snapshots from a generic war except for the last scene. I think the theme had a lot more potential.
