One of those slow burn movies that just really sits with you. I feel like I needed more time than the movie allowed to really process what happened.

Interesting camerawork - I really enjoyed the unique take of filming from the POV of the “presence”. A movie commentary on what it means to be haunted by our trauma through the passage of time. Big pluses to A+ dad and the score, which was so good and perfectly timed to help…

Forgot how much I loved this movie. The perfect mix of whimsical, sentimental, and cinematography for this girlie. A story about love, connection, and what it means to have a life well lived, even if that’s only in your eyes.

We owned this DVD growing up and at this point, I must have seen this movie at least 5+ times. I appreciate the reminder every time. “A man sees things differently at different times in his life.”

Where to begin? Past Lives is a slow burn - a gentle storytelling that is raw, resonant, and full of moments of long pause, enough to leave something in your heart and mind.

What I loved most about this movie was its exploration of our choices in life and how as we progress through life, we move through versions of ourselves. Some that we carry with us, and some that we leave behind in the pursuit of our dreams, of…
