I loved Inside Out the first time I watched it. However, it recently appeared on my TikTok FYP as movie clips, and I decided to just scroll through a bunch of Inside Out clips. When I got to the ending on TikTok, I cried at this movie for the first time.
I really liked this movie. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling fit the roles of Barbie and Ken so well, and Ken's line delivery was superb. I loved how the story progressed and teared up a little towards the end. Will Ferrell also did an amazing job and had me tearing up from laughter. The only reason I did not rank this movie higher is because it did not have me feeling as fulfilled, overjoyed, or feeling the range of emotions the movies I have ranked above it have made me feel.
This was a beautiful movie with such a real message because underneath the complexity of the movie, its message is so simple that anyone can relate to it. Furthermore, I could highly relate with the character Joy as a son of Asian immigrant parents. Furthermore, Stephanie Hsu showed such depth to her character; I was in awe of her performance. I cried twice during this movie, once because of Waymond and once because of Joy. Beautiful movie. My only quarrel with it is I was confused at times during the movie and had to ask questions because of my confusion.
