Wow this was lack of subtlety: the movie. I understood the messages they were trying to send, but overall it felt like an after school special about the patriarchy that ran on for a little too long. The intentions behind the movie were good, but execution could have been so much better. Also, the ending felt so unearned and emotionally manipulative.
On the plus side, the Billie Eilish song was good, and the outfits were cool. That’s about it.
