A fun and interesting documentary. I was expecting it to be more about film and filmmaking, but I think it's more about the filmmakers themselves.
How far can one go for a film? How close one can get to the theme? Do limitations make someone more creative? Can one let go of their ego and make a shit film? Who controls who? It's two madmen trying to outsmart each other, it's really cruel art, it's deconstructive, it's exploitative, it's funny,…

I watched this for 'The five obstructions'.
I don't know anything about the director but I thought this was a really interesting and bizarre short. It's kind of like an educational film about humans, but it's really a deconstruction of things. It's really meta, often removing elments of the film or the characters or changing things and than the narrator (who even acknowledges himself) makes remarks about that. The visuals are surreal and minimalist.
It's really interesting and it's short and sweet with 13 minutes.

An interesting concept wasted on a nothing of a movie. I love films that use composition and cinematogrphy to try and blur the line between theatre and motion picture, like 'Dogville' or 'Birdman', but not only are those film superbly written, there is also a point to the style.
'Here' could have been made like a normal movie and it wouldn't have made a difference. They don't even commit to the style fully. Yes, we stay in this one angle,…

I have seen this film many times when I was a kid. I decided to rewatch it to see how it aged, however, it didn't even age at all. It is still as charming as it was in my childhood. It is beautifully animated, the voice acting is perfect and the music is fantastic. The story is simple, but fast-paced and it is impossible to get bored during the film. It is both funny and emotional. I can recommend it even to those who are not Hungarian. It is one of the best, most memorable animated films ever.
