Perfect Days 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This movie is like a cycle. Each day following our main character as he does his work. Small interactions drive this movie through subtle changes. We start to anticipate what he will do, and I was pleased when my assumptions were wrong. Why doesn't he wear a watch. Why is it in the last 30 minutes of the movie does he use his phone for the first time? All of it just feels like a respectful and peaceful life. Others judge him but these are his rituals, and it's beautiful for that.
