  At a certain point, I needed it to stop. But it didn’t. But it doesn’t. This is what Palestinians have been through for decades. And it never stops.

  Visually it’s stunning. The directing is impressive, so is the photography and Zoe Saldaña absolutely deserved that Golden Globe.
  However, this isn’t enough for me. Emilia Perez has, for me, the same issue other Audiard’s movies like Deehpan have. Audiard uses characters with very heavy backgrounds, who bring into the movie a lot of questions about issues he doesn’t truly know.   Life is suffering. Life is full of pain. Full of grief. And we all aim for peace. We all just need this pain to end. 
  I don’t think this movie is fully nihilistic. I think this is in fact a scream for help. Manzhouli means peace. Aiming for that elephant in Manzhouli means aiming for peace. And we all deserve peace.
  Thank you Hu Bo. I hope that wherever you are, you are in peace now.
