Something I’m reminded by everytime i watch amazingly shot cgi films is how vast and capable technology is and i remember how the way society chooses to use it isn’t always the best. the people in the movie (the owner of the company, the facility owner and his son, the police) are upset that the beings which of whom they’ve caused harm to have retaliated. and then blame those beings, want to punish those beings, want to harm those beings. we aren’t the smartest species alive and this film wonderfully displayed that we easily can be overthrown, even by apes.
