Not only was this a bad movie all around, but there's one scene that felt like it was lifted straight from Birth of a Nation. I honestly wish it had MORE to do with the story 'cause it'd make it easier to hate, but it was just kinda... There???
Anyway don't watch this, not worth your time
This was simultaneously one of the most homoerotic and homophobic movies I've ever seen and I love it. I don't know if that was the intention but that was what I took from it. I am unofficially reclaiming this for lgbtq2a+ community.
Also the soundtrack slaps
One time I had a dream where a sex worker knocked on my door and was like "I heard someone needed attention" and I says to them "Nah I'm just watching a movie, wanna join me?" She agreed and the rest of my dream was us watching Pacific Rim and it played scene for scene, word for word in real time.
Pacifc Rim is my favourite movie of all time and I'm pretty sure it that point I had seen it approximately 20 - 30 times so I think my subconcious had a decent grasp of how the movie goes.
I felt like I only needed to watch about 5 scenes in this whole movie in order to understand End Game. A whole lot of nothing happened, but at least it was funny. Otherwise it was just drab and not engaging at all.
