Vprento’s 2024 Movies: Best to Worst

While "Gladiator II" is definitely entertaining, there's no denying that this was a completely unnecessary sequel that fails to stand on its own and references the original at every opportunity. Multiple storylines are thrown together and none of them are resolved in satisfying ways. The building blocks for something great are there, but poor writing and shoddy CGI stop this movie from being anything more than a cash grab.

I'm sure Louisa May Alcott's "Little Women" was a big inspiration for "Meet Me in St. Louis", because this feels very reminiscent of the former in many ways. I am in the minority of people who don't like this movie. It just didn't click with me.

2.All relationships were incredibly boring. Only his current one with Laura was okay.
3.The editing was bad in my opinion. It was really boring at times and it lasted way too long.…

    ★★

Akira was one of the most disappointing movies I have ever seen. The movie looks gorgeous, no doubt. But I found everything else lacking. The beginning was okay, the stuff with the bike gangs, but then it turned into a really weird sci-fi movie. No doubt it's influential, but I really didn't like it. Sorry.
