This movie is so male centered. Regardless of what happens, men keep winning and women are left settling and intentionally pathetic. Not very #MisandristMarch

I forgot about this movie and watching with my mom. It has this “everything will be okay” vibe of some early 2000s movies (I wish there was like a film crit term for it or at least that I knew one) but it feels a lil straightforward in an unchallenging way than being comforting. I say this while also agreeing that this movie did exactly what it’s purpose was meant to be. In short, Queen Latifah you will always be famous! Kevin Bacon’s best roll.
