  What a bizarre time to watch this ridiculous film!

  We have all used the word Hitler as an adjective for detestable draconian behaviour in our lives. Don't deny it, I was there.

  Imagine you say it nien times, and he appears; except only you can see him, he is naked, and no one will ever believe you. His eyes pierce your soul, raking past the plasters of everyday monotonicity, all the way to the horrors.

  This film has been popping up in my suggested page for some time now. It is obviously a teenage drama and I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch that.

  It was a teenage drama. But it was also about relationships and religion.

  Watch it when you want to feel a little hopeful about where the world is headed!

  Otto is our grumpy neighbourhood uncle. If your ball went into his yard, you forget the ball kind of grumpy. But he wasn't always like that. He was happy once.

  Tom Hanks is wonderful, as usual. The characters all have their quirks and the cast has done well to bring it all to life.
