The Substance 2024
Solid horror movie, the first 30 minutes set an expectation for much more gore throughout though. Going into it completely blind, I wasnt sure what to expect but overall it was a satisfying horror movie with a f'd up way of delivering a beautiful message; you have to love & respect yourself wholly. Espically the nasty parts that you try to hide or hidden pleasures that you hate yourself for indulging in must be respected and loved. I'd reccomend this movie to anyone who wants something different and unexpected.

Absolutely captivating movie. Got to see it in a 270° theater so it was extra immersive. Couple of plot holes but hey — its a horror movie its to be expected. This movie was definitely made for the bigscreen, I's reccomend catching it in theaters while u can.

The end of this movie felt like a slap in the face. Besides that, the acting was very good but I dont think I could watch this movie again. The entire movie follows a radio crew inside their building, and while it was intresting, it lacked a sense of environment and would have been better as a 40-minute long TV episode instead of a movie.
