rewatch. such a good portrait of a culture I can’t really claim to know a lot about. i lost a cousin to heroin and it hurts me to know that I’ll never understand what he went through during his active addiction and in his last days.
what strikes me the hardest about drug addiction (and what I feel this film accomplishes expressing) is how random it is. it made me really sad, but it also reminded me that life is brimming with optimism and so am I.Translated from by -
