  It is a visually STUNNING film, first and foremost, and as an enjoyer of casual “style over substance”, I think it is worth it just for that. It is pretty funny, but the humor caters heavily to an American context that worldwide (especially older) audiences may not fully understand. It unfortunately doesn’t have the deepest or profoundest take on the things it wants to discuss, but given everything else the movie has going for it, it seems unfair to me to expect it to.

  Also, the opening scene mimicking 2001 makes me genuinely want to cry every time I see it and I don’t know why.
