The dynamic between the 2 main characters was stressful to watch, but I suppose it was written to be that way. I love a good drama but, I just can’t seem to understand the theme or understanding that the writers of this film wanted viewers to walk away with. I struggled to tolerate the lack of depth and emotional weakness given to Jules without any explanation, especially as a queer black lead.
