I began watching this movie for Ewan McGregor, as you do, and quickly realised that it would become one of my favourite movies.
Beginners depiction of grief and relationships is amazing. I can’t for the life of me understand why it’s so underrated, other than the fact that it’s a slow paced movie with a comfortable plot. It has just the right amount of emotion and humour to be touching, and the way that Anna and Oliver fall in love…
Iceman and Maverick are in love, there are no two ways about it. Truthfully, one of my comfort movies, if not because of the story because of the characters and their progression. The cinematography is amazing, the acting is good, the story and the behind the scenes are entertaining. Just a generally fun movie.
