it’s like somehow the summer before leaving your hometown for college is the same for everyone. i didn’t do any of the things that elliott did but i still felt everything she felt when i was leaving for college. god this sucked to watch. and somehow the movie referenced all of my not niche but not popular fixations in an organic way (justin bieber one less lonely girl, little women, saoirse ronan)
