    Cagetober 2.0 Day 31

For a long time one of my most wanted movies, this became an obvious choice for the final entry of Cagetober.
It was everything I'd wanted it to be, mainly just a whole lot of fun. Cage and Pascal were amazing and their chemistry was something else. Could have watched them for hours.
Cage fans will have a field day spotting all the references to Cage's body of work. Had high hopes for this and they were met. Fitting end for my 2nd Cagetober.

    Cagetober 2.0 Day 30

Never got into it, everything about this film seems uninspired. This kind of story has been executed much better many times. This is also not terrible in a fun, bonkers kind of way. Can't take any positives out of this one.

    Hana & Alice

    ★★½

Has its share of beautiful moments but goes on for well too long and the story was really bothersome at times. Doesn't the guy have a single friend (or any other person in his life) who could clear things up? The story doesn't make any sense.
I love Yentown and liked All About Lily Chou-Chou a lot but Hana and Alice is a film that won't have a lasting impact for me.

Life's suffering begins when one falls in love...
Jin-ho Hur slowly establishes himself as one of my favourite directors from Korea. I love the subdued tone of his films.
