  well… here I am rewatching this film. after I first watched it, I planned on never rewatching it because it’s just so painful watching it, but at the same time it’s amazing, it’s perfection. I wanted an escape from reality today, because it hasn’t been going so great lately… so I rewatched this film and I can say it wasn’t a great decision. I was crying and balling my eyes out the entire time.

  I cried way more than I thought I would laugh, and that pretty much sums up this movie. I really loved kieran culkin and jesse eisenberg’s performances. I watched this right before the oscars but since I’m logging this after them I’m so fucking glad kieran won it! the whole movie just felt so heartwarming and also so sad, which is just the right combination for me
