Halloween 2018
One of my favorite soft reboots/legacy remakes Hollywood has done in recent years. Just a really solid slasher movie that pays tribute to the original without nostalgia dumping. The first act is super slow but once the nerd podcasters get dunked on and Michael gets the mask this thing starts cooking.

DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story 2004
This was the funniest movie ever to me as a kid so I was really worried it wouldn’t hold up. Holy shit this movie ripped. Multiple laugh out loud funny lines and bits. Sneaky stacked cast?? Jason Bateman in a hilarious supporting role? I don’t know how Ben Stiller got through reading any of his lines without laughing. Vince Vaughn can only play Vince Vaughn but he can sure play the shit out of being Vince Vaughn. Shoutout Justin Long.
