  Could be a much bigger film than what it is, maybe even a masterpiece. Getting a lil clash-of-the-David’s vibes here, as the story and setting are definitely David Lynch’s style, so maybe that’s what’s missing? Sorry Cronenberg much love🫶🏻. 

  It’s got an ingenious plot twist that formulates an original contrast and overlap between the American-Midwest suburban dream, and the violence of the East-Side mob.

  Also a good cast, but I felt some elements of the film don’t quite click… or maybe it’s just cuz there are some pretty intense sex scenes and I was watching this with my mum.

  I left the cinema being quite critical of what I had just seen. I don’t know exactly for what reason, but I felt as if I wasn’t really impressed;
  Cinematography a bit too fantastical, pace of the film at times quite slow, Frau Hutter’s character was overall quite boring (and her trench coat was not buttoned to the top), Nosferatu’s death also boring (ie. he dies full stop) and so forth.
