Yi Yi 2000
Rarely are the times I consider a movie like poetry, invoking indescribable feelings in-between frames but Yi Yi's poetry goes beyond this. Beyond complex philosophical questions which throughout centuries us [humankind] attempted to find a solution. No... Yi Yi distance itself from this questions, makes it simpler, makes it about humans. It questions without an answer, positions us [human as an audience] to feel and not search. It is poetry in its pure form since poetry is not about unstoppable search for a meaning but it's about a subjetive interpretation from every reader. Yi Yi taughts you what poetry can be as an artform.
