Gave it 3 stars, not because it’s a good movie…because by most standards by which one would rate a movie (plot, dialogue, characters, etc.) it more likely dwells on the lower half of the scale…that said it had a lot of pretty funny, raunchy, and entertaining parts and possessed the inexplicable and undefinable “something” that can sometimes take a shitty movie and elevate it for some strange reason. So it’s a bad movie that I highly enjoyed…your mileage may vary.

To Catch a Thief 1955
Based on the premise, the setting, the director, and the actors involved, especially the two leads in Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, this movie should have been great. But it just kind of plods along, teasing you here and there that it might veer from that dreary course, only to disappointingly arrive back on that path. It never really goes anywhere and then it just kind of ends.
To be fair, Hitchcock does like using abrupt endings at times, but…
