the worse of two wright films tonight, and lining up to be the worst of 4 this weekend. it's running the same playbook as shaun of the dead with less finesse: the empty british adulthood mediated by the pub, alcohol, stupor and oblivion. here the zombies are changed for body-snatchers, and i do think it makes for an interesting gimmick but ultimately the movie explains itself to death and loses the punch.
