  I feel like a lot of people are being too hard on this documentary. A lot of people wanted an unbiased and "raw" look at the Troubled Teen Industry which isn't really present here.. because it's not really the point.
  It seems like this was created as a form of therapy for the director. As a child, her voice wasn't uplifted and heard so ofc she wants it to be heard now as an adult. I agree that I would've…
