Well done but dragged towards the second half. The theater was bone-chillingly cold, no doubt to capture the on-screen atmosphere.
Visuals killed but the soundtrack was overbearing at times. Gory and really gross in a way that felt right.
Willem Dafoe was incredible, Bill Skarsgard was helped by fx (typical). It’s cool that they flipped the script so Lily-Rose Depp’s character Ellen had a role in summoning Nosferatu/wasn’t just a damsel in distress. She committed hard, but how many times do we need to watch her writhe around in the night to gain an understanding of what’s happening?
