The Crow: City of Angels 1996
Not as bad as people make it out to be, but above all things, what an incredibly stylish film. I really appreciated the hazy, misty portrayal of Los Angeles – a city full of drug addicts, violence, sex, BDSM, leather play, and people making shady deals. The sun never seems to rise in this version of the City of Angels. It's unfortunate, though, that Weinstein and Miramax chopped the film up so much, trying to force it to follow the same narrative beats as its predecessor. As a result, the visuals got buried under a repetitive plot that dulled the film’s unique edge.

Forever Mine 1999
Very old-fashioned, but clever, Paul Schrader's soap opera. Gretchen Mol is incredibly beautiful here.

Postcards from London 2018
This film got one thing and one thing only right:
Harris Dickinson's body is a work of art, a masterpiece if you will.
