  this is actually one of the warmest, sweetest, most romantic movies ever. diane ladd is a different animal in this. nicolas cage and laura dern (who honestly should’ve won an award for this movie) are electric. harry dean stanton is heart-warming. even just visually, this is such a breathtaking movie. i love your mind so much david lynch.
