  My man Novocaine looks like he's 25 and 45.

  My man Novocaine looks like they put Pacey on a stretching rack.

  Pretty good. Some super gross violence humor. Not a ton of action all things considered. Every character had a slightly different tone, like the director told each of them it was a slightly different movie. And I didn't believe all the backstory stuff. It was too complicated for the emotions portrayed in the movie.

  Its no John Wick or Nobody or Crank, but it's fairly charming.

  I know I have seen this since I saw it in the theater, but I don't know when. I think it's a safe bet I haven't seen it since becoming an adult.

  It's truly astonishing that it exists from a technical standpoint, from a licensing standpoint, from a "how did Zemeckis get final cut" standpoint (which I guess is also a licensing standpoint), from a "holy cow, this movie has more liquor than the average episode of Deadwood" standpoint...

  I liked a lot of it, but it fell apart in the end.

  I liked the visuals and the two leads. I didn't like the fact that every major character who'd been living on this horrible mining planet looked twelve years old (and not a rough twelve, like a Disney movie twelve), or the fact that this movie was mostly just made out of other Alien movies.
