Thoughts:

If you go in not expecting Godfather quality stuff than it definitely warms your heart!

NOTE: I've seen two versions of this movie, one seemed to be extended and had narration by John Cleese and it DRASTICALLY changed the movie making it far better than the one without John Cleese!

Thoughts:

I grew up watching movies like Desperado and From Dusk Till Dawn and because of that I've formed a soft spot for these types of films.

This movie is like two movies in one and plays like a song. It has a build up, an in-between stage and then a complete third act breakdown.

If you go in expecting a normal film, you won't get it haha.

Thoughts:

Fantastic movie, not quite as good as Tommy Boy in my opinion (reason for not 5 stars) but I'm glad as heck that they got to make something similar to it before Chris Farley passed away. These two had amazing chemistry together.

Thoughts:

This movie inspired a lot of discussion about the value of critique itself when I watched it. About 20 minutes in I was worried that I wasn't seeing the "specialness" that everyone was talking about but then it kicked in. It felt far more original than other films I've recently seen.

Hard to rate this film on an enjoyment level. It put me in a dark place for a while when I watched it. Great story and acting though!

Thoughts:

We decided to finish the Harry Potter marathon with the last movie in the series because that's how marathons work. Apart from that absolutely useless sentence, this movie ends the series perfectly.
