I am writing this review under duress…
Loved every frame of this film.
Even the bits that drag on a little too long are still good.
Can’t say I’ve seen the 1922 original - at least not since university - and I’m sure there’s some twerps out there saying this is just derivative. But those people probably weren’t hugged enough as a child.
