The Thing 1982
Hm! I understand why other people like it though.
Did not like the thing as a monster, did not understand characters’ logic, thought the whole thing was kind of overly leading to a prewritten conclusion.
Bonus: Absolutely fascinating commentary by my boyfriend of “I love this movie! We should watch it!” an hour before and then two minutes after “I hate endings like that, I wish it was (different ending).” Man has many facets. I personally liked the ending, just the lead up to it was too precise.
