for all the deeply serene and meditative scenery I have to ask what the fuck was going on in the background of this film. did humans sleight God? is God real in this one? having the major catastrophe of the film go unexplained and choosing to focus on a group of animals surviving what can only be assumed to be some Biblical Great Flood is probably its best joke in retrospect
